Prof. N. K. Bose Memorial Research Fellowship
Prof. N. K. Bose was the Founder President of the Calcutta University Chemical Engineering Alumni Association and the first Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Calcutta. He joined the erstwhile Department of Applied Chemistry as the first Professor of Chemical Engineering in 1962.
M. G. Banerjee Merit Scholarship
Late Madan Gopal Banerjee was born on August 07, 1940 in Bankura district of West Bengal. After his Post Graduation in Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology from the Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Calcutta in 1963, he specialized in Industrial Engineering and HRD.
